Stone Bridge School

Stone Bridge School (SBS) is a unique public school, an independent charter school, that offers an educational program more typically found in a smaller, private school setting.  Stone Bridge School was formerly called the Napa Valley Charter School and it started serving children of the Napa Valley in the fall of 2000.

We are a community of families, teachers, and community members, using Waldorf inspired teaching methods to nourish and educate our children.

Our school features parent and community participation at all levels, including governance.

SBS offers kindergarten through eighth grade and we joyfully graduated our first eighth grade class at the end of the 2005/2006 school year.

Effective on July 1, 2005, Stone Bridge School became a charter school of the Napa Valley Unified School District (NVUSD).
